UNLIMITED- What is a Producer?. 19th September event for disabled artists

19th Sept

Zoom

Free

This event is aimed at artists who identify as disabled. They use an inclusive definition of disability based on the social model. By using the term ‘disabled artist’, they aim to include those who identify as disabled, D/deaf, neurodivergent, chronically ill, clinically extremely vulnerable to COVID-19, experience mental health conditions, have long-term health conditions, or have access needs.

What is a producer? What do they do? How do I find one? What does it mean to be a disabled producer working with disabled artists?
Discover the art of producing in our online session for artists! Join working producers/artists Cathy Mager and Caroline Cardus, along with Ellie Liddell-Crewe (Unlimited Programme Manager: Develop), to learn all about what it means to be a producer.

We’ll kick things off with a chat between Cathy and Caroline, led by questions from Ellie. And you’ll have the chance to ask your own questions about producing, so come prepared to engage!

Access

The booking form includes space to tell us about any access requirements you may have. Unlimited would appreciate it if you could let them know at least a week before the event if possible, so they can do our best to ensure that all access provision is in place.
