Join playwright and director Alan McKendrick for a relaxed and informal workshop exploring writing new material in response to your surroundings, plus approaches to creating text for both individual and community voices. All are welcome to what promises to be a fun, low-pressure afternoon of creative invention.
Alan McKendrick was born in Paisley, raised in nearby Kilbarchan and has made performances with various organisations including National Theatre Of Scotland, Arches, Untitled Projects, Tron, Bayerische Staatsoper and Staatstheater Nürnberg among others. His work has been performed in graveyards, rivers, pubs, art galleries, on the Paisley-Lochwinnoch cycle track and sometimes even in theatres.
