Somalia is currently running the Royal Court Introduction to Playwriting groups. Her work has been produced by the Royal Court, RSC, Clean break and Stratford East & is currently under commission to Paines Plough & the RSC.

Young Court Friends Events exist to share industry knowledge and information to widen access for young playwrights and dramaturgs. Each lecture style workshop is led by an expert to provide insight into their field of work. Following the workshop there is an opportunity to watch a matinee performance for £15
