GMAH: Two new funds open for Greater Manchester artists

GM Artist Hub brings together many of the performing arts organisations and venues in Greater Manchester to offer our support to the independent practitioners, artists, and companies in our local area during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since April we have been listening to individual artists through 1-1 advice sessions and talking to specific groups such as the Freelance Task Force and DANC to better understand what you might need at this time. Over the coming months we will now be offering a range of different opportunities and activities responding to what we have heard.

We are currently receiving applications for two funds:

REVIVE FUND, offering support and a hardship bursary for freelancers excluded from other sources of support

REBOOT FUND, supporting eight early career practitioners to explore ideas for new work

Support sessions

We also offer free, private 30 minute Advisory Sessions, where you can talk your questions & ideas through with one or two of us at a time.

We host an irregular programme of Group Sessions to look at bigger developments as they come up. Our next group event will be on Weds 14 October at 2pm to discuss ideas for a GM-wide showcase for new work in Summer 2021 – save the date now and booking will open soon.
