Online Q&A with GROUNDED writer George Brant

On Monday 10 November, 1pm – 2pm, award-winning writer GEORGE BRANT – whose play GROUNDED plays at The Royal Exchange Theatre 4-8 November – will be on hand to answer your questions about writing for theatre via our live online Q&A.

George Brant’s play GROUNDED is on a national tour of the UK and has already won itself multiple 4 & 5 star reviews whilst beinglabeled MESMERISING (The Telegraph) and “A SEARING PIECE OF WRITING” (The Guardian)

George Brant’s plays include Grounded, Elephant’s Graveyard, The Mourners’ Bench, Any Other Name, Salvage, Grizzly Mama, Three Voyages of the Lobotomobile, Night of the Mime, One Hand Clapping and Dark Room. A Core Writer at the Playwright’s Center, his scripts have been produced internationally by Trinity Repertory Company, the Studio Theatre, City Theatre, Cleveland Play House, London’s Gate Theatre, Page 73, Melbourne’s Red Stitch Theatre and Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre, among others. He has received a Kennedy Center National Playwriting Award, the Smith Prize, a Scotsman Fringe First Award, a Creative Workforce Fellowship, an Off-West End Theatre Award, an NNPN Rolling World Premiere, two OAC Individual Excellence Awards, and the Keene Prize for Literature. He has been awarded writing fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the McCarter Theatre Center, Blue Mountain Center, the Djerassi Resident Artist’s Program, and the Michener Center for Writers. He is published by Samuel French, Oberon Books and Smith & Kraus.
