Podcast: Adapting Other Works

April de Angelis’ adaptation of Mary Shelley’s FRANKENSTEIN is currently onstage at the Royal Exchange Theatre, alongside In-Sook Chappell’s MOUNTAINS: THE DREAMS OF LILY KWOK, the stage play of Helen Tse’s memoir SWEET MANDARIN.  Rory Mullarkey has written the critically acclaimed new translation of Chekhov’s THE CHERRY ORCHARD that transfers from Bristol Old Vic to the Royal Exchange in April.  Amanda Dalton adapted both David Almond’s SECRET HEART, and Janne Teller’s NOTHING for the Royal Exchange Theatre.
