The Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting International Workshop- Delhi

Join us for the first of our three exciting international workshops on Saturday 8th April at 1.30pm BST with playwright and theatre director Abhishek Majumdar. As ever the workshops will be live streamed at writeaplay.co.uk where there will also be a chance to interact via social media. All workshops will later be available as a free resource tool for anyone to access afterwards.

This year, for the very first time, Bruntwood Prize is partnering with international organisations and playwrights to highlight and showcase writers from around the world. While the Bruntwood Prize is only open to writers with UK residency Bruntwood Prize winning plays have been performed all over the world. By hosting workshops in Australia, India and America we want to create resources for budding playwrights from all over the world to develop their craft and highlight the creativity outside of the UK.

The international partners are Playwriting Australia at The Arts Exchange in Sydney, a student group at Jawaharla Nehru in Delhi and the Public Theater in New York City.

Tune in for  ABHISHEK MAJUMDAR on Writing the Personal, Political and Philosophical this Saturday 8 April, 1.30-3.30pm BST
